Job summary

K&A Power Group in Rochester, NY is seeking a seasoned Project Scheduler & Cost Controller to manage project cost control and scheduling. You will develop Integrated Master Schedules, monitor EVMS, and produce cost/schedule reports across substation, T&D, and energy projects.

Requires 3+ years in project controlling and 4+ years in construction scheduling, plus CAPM/PMI-SP or equivalent. SAP and Primavera/MS Project experience are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Project Controlling and 4 years in Construction Project Scheduling.
• CAPM or PMI-SP Certificate or equivalent (requires Avangrid approval).
• SAP experience required.
• Primavera (preferred) and/or MS Project experience required.
• Experience in Substations, T&D, Gas-Hydro and OSG.

Responsibilities

• Produce regular and ad-hoc cost and scheduling reports with input from all functions.
• Verify cost data accuracy, coding and budgeting; develop forecasts and cost trends.
• Develop Integrated Master Schedule and six-month look-ahead plans.
• Perform EVM, analyze critical paths, and monitor schedule/cost performance.
• Provide guidance on scheduling practices and coordinate with project managers.
