Job summary

Cordoba Corporation in Los Angeles seeks a Project Scheduler to analyze and monitor complex construction schedules for large capital projects. You will review Primavera P6 baseline and updates, evaluate critical paths, and provide detailed comments to support planning, execution, and reporting.

The role requires deep scheduling knowledge, QA/QC of submittals, and the ability to develop schedule recovery plans. Onsite environment with extensive multi-discipline coordination.

Qualifications

• Six years of full-time construction scheduling experience.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 (latest v19) and MS Office.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• Alternate: degree in any field with two extra years scheduling experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Superior organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to build relationships with project teams and staff.
• Understanding of cost engineering, scheduling and schedule forensics.

Responsibilities

• Interpret detailed construction drawings to understand work scope.
• Review P6 baseline and monthly schedules; identify missing scope, logic, milestones, and cost loading.
• Provide written schedule review comments using templates.
• Perform QA/QC on contractor submittals for contract conformance.
• Create Earned Value curves per LAUSD EVA templates.
• Monitor monthly progress and identify schedule risks and recovery actions.
• Produce KPIs and variance reports with root causes and mitigations.
