Job summary

Loenbro, LLC is seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our Industrial Services Group in Afton, TX. The role requires hands-on oversight of welding and piping inspections, NDE coordination, and QA plan development to ensure project compliance.

The successful candidate will hold current AWS CWI or ASNT VT II, have strong NDT knowledge, and at least 5+ years of QC experience within a heavy industrial setting. Team collaboration and clear communication are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Current AWS CWI or ASNT VT II certification
• Strong knowledge of NDT methods with ASNT-SNT-TC-1A training/hours
• Experience generating turnover packages
• Proficiency In reading and Interpreting drawings
• Knowledge of key Industry codes and standards (ASME, AWS, ACI, AISC, NACE)
• 5+ years of Quality Control Inspector experience
• Experience working under a Quality Management Program
• Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment
• High organizational skills and strong verbal and written communication abilities

Responsibilities

• Weld Map Isometric drawings
• Weld & piping Inspections
• Enter welding and inspection information into tracking tool
• Assist with pressure testing plans
• Review and File NDE/NDT Reports
• Work with NDE personnel for planning and execution of work
• Assemble and review project documentation packages
• Perform and document inspections based on drawings, specifications, and procedures to determine compliance.
• Test welders and perform weld inspections
• Review welding requirements and ensure welding procedures comply
• Create and implement Project Quality Assurance Plans
• Provide support and training to other inspectors
• Write inspection and test plans (I&TP’s)
