Job summary

Loenbro in Ellendale, North Dakota, is seeking a Project Quality Manager (Mechanical) to lead the Industrial Quality team. This onsite role focuses on welding, piping, inspection, and coordination with engineering, construction, and fabrication to ensure project quality and compliance.

Candidates will bring AWS CWI or ASNT VT II, 5+ years QC experience, and the ability to develop QA plans, review turnover packages, and coach inspectors.

Qualifications

• Mechanical construction experience with piping, structural steel, fabrication, and equipment installation.
• Strong knowledge of NDT methods with ASNT-SNT-TC-1A training/hours.
• Experience generating turnover packages.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings.
• Knowledge of ASME, AWS, ACI, AISC, NACE standards.
• 5+ years of Quality Control Inspector experience.
• Experience working under a Quality Management Program.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment.
• High organizational skills and strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Weld Map Isometric drawings.
• Weld & piping Inspections.
• Project turnover experience.
• Enter welding and inspection information into tracking tool.
• Assist with pressure testing plans.
• Review and File NDE/NDT Reports.
• Work with NDE personnel for planning and execution of work.
• Assemble and review project documentation packages.
• Perform and document inspections based on drawings, specifications, and procedures to determine compliance.
• Test welders and perform weld inspections.
• Review welding requirements and ensure welding procedures comply.
• Create and implement Project Quality Assurance Plans.
• Provide support and training to other inspectors.
• Write inspection and test plans (I&TP's).

• Plan and execute Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Reports.
