Job summary

Loenbro is seeking an experienced Project Quality Manager (Mechanical) to join the Quality Control team in Elko, Nevada. The role emphasizes welding, piping inspections, and QA plan development; you will partner with engineering, construction, and fabrication to ensure project quality meets codes and client expectations.

The ideal candidate holds current AWS CWI or ASNT VT II, has 5+ years in QC with piping and structural systems, and can lead QA plans, NDE coordination, and root-cause analyses.

Qualifications

• Mechanical construction experience with piping systems, structural steel, fabrication, and equipment installation.
• Current AWS CWI or ASNT VT II certification.
• Strong knowledge of NDT methods with ASNT SNT-TC-1A training.
• Experience generating turnover packages.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings.
• Knowledge of ASME, AWS, ACI, AISC, NACE standards.
• 5+ years in Quality Control Inspector roles.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated candidate to join our growing Industrial Quality team. This position will be responsible for the duties listed below along with other related functions. Familiarity with piping is a must. A team-oriented mentality and the drive to continuously improve are what set the Loenbro team at the top of the industry. This position works closely with related engineering, construction, fabrication, and other departments to ensure that the team’s aligned goals are being met.

Minimum Qualifications

• Mechanical construction experience with piping systems, structural steel, fabrication, and equipment installation.
• Current AWS CWI or ASNT VT II certification
• Strong knowledge of NDT methods with ASNT-SNT-TC-1A training/hours
• Experience generating turnover packages
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings
• Knowledge of key Industry codes and standards (ASME, AWS, ACI, AISC, NACE)
• 5+ years of Quality Control Inspector experience
• Experience working under a Quality Management Program
• Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment
• High organizational skills and strong verbal and written communication abilities

Work Environment

• Indoor office setting with controlled temperature.

• Travel requirements: up to 10% of time.
