Job summary

TEC Group International is seeking a senior Project Quality Manager to lead QA/QC across a multi-discipline, life sciences EPC project in Illinois. You will embed quality in design, procurement, construction and commissioning, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and client specs while guiding a diverse team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of Quality Management on major EPC projects.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary QA/QC teams.
• Strong understanding of construction quality systems and inspection planning.
• Experience across Civil, Structural, CSA, Mechanical, Piping, HVAC, Electrical and Instrumentation.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead quality programs within fast-paced construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the project QA/QC team through the lifecycle.
• Develop and implement the Project Quality Plan.
• Act as primary quality representative for the project.
• Promote a culture of quality and compliance across the project.
• Develop, maintain and improve quality procedures and inspection plans.
• Coordinate quality activities across all disciplines.
• Review contractor/subcontractor quality plans for compliance.
• Monitor quality performance and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee inspections, testing and NCR management.
• Ensure quality documentation and handover readiness.
• Report quality performance, risks and improvement initiatives.
