Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager III to direct quality across a program of capital projects. You will establish the quality management system, oversee Project Quality Managers, and set supplier and contractor qualification standards.

You represent the client in regulatory and third-party audits, own corrective-action closure, and report quality performance to executive leadership. This senior role requires leadership and strong governance across complex programs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in quality on capital projects, with 5+ years directing quality programs and staff.
• ASQ CMQ-OE or CQA, and ISO 9001 lead auditor.
• NQA-1 lead auditor qualification a strong plus.
• Experience as the quality authority on regulated programs (nuclear, energy, transportation, or federal).
• Executive-level communication and the judgment to stop work when the record demands it.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly audit-program reviews with Project Quality Managers.
• Direct supplier and contractor qualification activities and approvals within procurement.
• Address regulator audits with root-cause analyses and executive-level responses.
• Oversee corrective-action closure and report quality performance, risk, and cost to leadership.
• Make tough decisions regarding nonconformances and ensure proper documentation.
