Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager II to own quality on capital projects from the owner's or EPC side. You will write the project quality plan, set surveillance, qualify vendors, and report quality performance to project leadership.

You will lead audits of contractors and suppliers, review contractor QC plans, ITPs, and inspector qualifications, and manage nonconformance, corrective actions, and lessons learned. A valid driver's license and site presence are required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in quality on construction or industrial capital projects.
• 2+ years leading a project quality program.
• ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification.
• Experience with owner-side quality programs in industrial, energy, infrastructure, or federal work.

Responsibilities

• Write the project quality plan and contractor/supplier quality requirements that flow from it.
• Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers.
• Qualify vendors and inspection agencies.
• Review and accept contractor QC plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspector qualifications.
• Own the project nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes.
• Report quality metrics and risks to project leadership and the owner's quality organization.
