Job summary

The LEGO Group, based in Massachusetts, seeks a Project Procurement Leader to drive procurement excellence within its Technology Development organization. You will coordinate Procurement, Engineering, Quality, and Planning to ensure safe and stable project execution with data-driven supplier decisions.

Exceptionally, you will monitor KPIs, manage supplier relations, and push lean improvements across cost modeling, risk, and supply chain setup while supporting a hybrid work model.

Imagine leading procurement efforts to create the next generation of technology-enabled toys. As a Project Procurement Leader, Senior Manager, you'll drive innovation in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

About the Role

As our Project Procurement Leader, you'll oversee procurement activities within the Technology Development organization, ensuring safe, stable, and efficient execution of the project plan. You'll coordinate activities between Procurement, Engineering, Quality, and Planning teams while representing the viability aspects. Your role will involve monitoring procurement KPIs, managing supplier relationships, and leading problem-solving activities to address cost and quality concerns. You'll also work with procurement team members, supporting continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost modeling, supply chain setup, and risks.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and preferably New Product Introduction (NPI).
• Understanding of engineering and electronics manufacturing processes.
• Supplier management experience in a multinational manufacturing environment.
• Strong negotiation, communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams during issues or project disruptions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Electronics background or engineering degree.
• Experience in highly automated or Industry 4.0 environments.
• Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience.
• Familiarity with New Product Introduction (NPI) procurement activities.
• Experience within mechatronics products is an advantage.
• Positive mindset and resilience in problem-solving.

Compensation

The salary for this position has a range of $134,750.00 - $202,126.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
