Job summary

LEGO Group in Virginia is seeking a Sr. Procurement Manager Specialist to lead transformation of the site's procurement process, ensure compliance, scalability, and cost optimization while collaborating with global teams.

You will drive KPIs, partner with stakeholders, support risk management, and champion ERP-driven improvements using SAP, Power BI, and Coupa. Hybrid on-site/wfh arrangement with relocation available and travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Industrial Engineering preferred.
  • Experience in procurement process design and ERP-enabled processes (SAP).

Join the LEGO Group as a Sr. Procurement Manager Specialist and lead the transformation of our Virginia manufacturing site's procurement process, driving compliance, scalability, and process excellence in collaboration with global teams to ensure long-term organizational resilience, with a strong focus on cost optimization and risk mitigation.

Core Responsibilities

Architect and standardize the LEGO Manufacturing Virginia site procurement process, ensuring compliance, scalability, and effective cost management.

Drive process excellence and adherence to global standards, policies, and governance frameworks, emphasizing risk mitigation.

Develop and implement procurement KPIs and metrics to measure performance, support organizational objectives, and optimize costs.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and global colleagues to align procurement capabilities with business goals, focusing on risk management.

Lead the integration of cost savings projects into regional and global forums, supporting financial planning and analysis.

Act as a subject-matter expert for procurement systems, championing advancements in SAP, Power BI, and Coupa.

Support greenfield and factory expansion objectives, ensuring procurement readiness, operational stability, and risk management.

It plays a crucial role in aligning procurement strategies with organizational objectives, fostering collaboration, and mitigating risks.

The Sr. Procurement Manager Specialist supports the broader organization by leading the transformation of procurement processes at the Virginia site. This role enhances compliance, scalability, and business impact, ensuring that procurement activities align with LEGO's growth and sustainability goals. By collaborating with global colleagues and internal stakeholders and building data streams to support seamless integration of cost-saving initiatives while contributing to the expansion of manufacturing capabilities, ultimately driving long‑term organizational success.

Do you have what it takes?

A Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Industrial Engineering is preferred, especially for candidates with experience in procurement process design and ERP-enabled processes like SAP. Must have experience in procurement, planning, or supply chain manufacturing, preferably in consumer products, with greenfield or transformation programs.

Must have:

Expertise in procurement process design, implementation, change management, and continuous improvement.

Strong proficiency in ERP systems, with SAP experience highly preferred.

Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and global colleagues.

Excellent analytical skills for developing procurement KPIs and metrics.

Strong communication skills to act as a subject‑matter expert and lead workshops and training.

Nice to have:

Experience with Power BI and Coupa for procurement analytics and reporting.

Familiarity with ISO Certification and Responsible Business Practices.

Demonstrated ability to lead productivity project tracking and cost savings initiatives.

Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to identify procurement‑related risks.

Experience in hosting workshops and onboarding sessions.

Ability to thrive in a dynamic, team‑oriented environment.

Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.

Compensation

The salary for this position has a range of $128,542.00 - $192,812.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
