Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA INC is seeking a Project Procurement Specialist to lead end-to-end procurement for large-scale EPC projects. You will build procurement plans, manage RFI/RFQ activities, and drive on-time delivery through cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Project Management, and Supply Chain teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5–8 years of procurement experience in relevant industries, with ERP/SAP or Oracle and scheduling tool proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of supply chain/procurement experience in EPC/grid/industrial environments.
• Hands-on experience with supplier quality processes (ITPs, FAT/SAT, NCR/SNCRP).
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and scheduling tools (Primavera P6 or MS Project).
• Strong Excel/Power BI analytics capabilities and fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage Project Procurement Plans aligned with project schedules and milestones.
• Support RFI/RFQ activities and supplier evaluations with cross-functional teams.
• Identify and mitigate supply, logistics, capacity, quality, and schedule risks during execution.
• Coordinate sourcing, contracting, supplier communications, and commercial negotiations.
• Execute expediting activities and drive recovery plans for On-Time Delivery targets.
• Coordinate supplier quality activities including ITPs, FAT/SAT, NCR/SNCRP closures.
• Publish procurement dashboards and monitor project performance metrics.
