Job summary

JW Williams INC in Casper, WY is seeking an experienced Project Planner / Scheduler to support large, multi-discipline fabrication projects. You will develop, maintain, and communicate detailed schedules using Primavera P6, and provide project document control throughout the lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with Project Managers, Engineering, Procurement, Production, Quality, and Customers to keep schedules accurate and documentation organized.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project planning and scheduling experience.
• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6.
• Experience developing and maintaining complex project schedules.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of earned value, resource planning, and project forecasting.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Build resource-loaded schedules for large, multi-discipline fabrication projects.
• Develop baseline schedules and maintain revisions throughout project execution.
• Monitor progress against schedule and identify critical path activities.
• Produce weekly and monthly schedule reports for leadership and customers.
• Coordinate schedule updates with various stakeholders.
• Assist Project Managers in mitigation and recovery planning.
• Track milestones for engineering, procurement, fabrication, painting, testing, and shipment.
• Assist with turnover packages and project closeout documentation.
• Communicate schedule status to internal stakeholders and customers.
