Job summary

ITC Defense in Lexington Park, MD is seeking a Project Officer to provide senior-level support to NAVAIR International Program Managers and APMLs. The role serves as a key integrator across complex aviation and defense initiatives, fostering collaboration among government, industry, and program stakeholders.

The position emphasizes leading a ~15-person team, coordinating IPS elements, and delivering timely CDRL submissions while improving processes and data integrity in a fast-paced defense

Qualifications

• Active or Interim DoD Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain)
• Master’s degree with 10+ years, or Bachelor’s with 14+ years in FMS/logistics/program management or related disciplines
• Experience supporting complex defense or aviation programs, preferably DoD
• Proficiency analyzing program data and documentation for decision-making
• Experience coordinating with government personnel, contractors, and international partners
• Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain accurate program data and reports
• Strong skills with Excel, SharePoint, and Teams

Responsibilities

• Oversees and ensures successful execution of all tasks within assigned projects.
• Leads and develops project personnel; supervises a team of ~15.
• Supports international programs by analyzing and coordinating IPS elements throughout the lifecycle.
• Ensures timely submission of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) items.
• Documents program processes and maintains current program data.
• Designs tools, dashboards, and workflows to enhance data integrity and decision-making.
• Supports special projects and additional duties as assigned.
