Job summary

PCL Civil Constructors, Inc. in Texas is seeking a Senior Project Manager for our Civil East office to lead water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will bring 8–12 years of progressive construction experience and strong project leadership capabilities.

You will collaborate across teams, manage safety programs, and drive project execution from planning through closeout in a fast-paced environment. This role requires on-site leadership in Colony, TX.

Qualifications

• Postsecondary education or training in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
• Gold Seal certification (CDN).
• 15+ years of progressive construction experience with multiple contract delivery types.
• 12 months of estimating or related experience preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of safety and environment principles/ procedures/legislation.
• In-depth knowledge of construction industry operations, materials, specs, methods and QA practices.
• Experience with diverse project types, delivery methods, and sequencing and timelines.
• Strong knowledge of construction laws and building codes; mult-trade sites experience.
• Understanding of insurance, bonding, and legal requirements.
• Effective verbal, written, and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to forecast project resources and staffing.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and maintains the project safety program.
• Conducts job site tours and safety inspections and leads by example.
• Liaises with clients to ensure projects meet safety and quality standards.
• Leads to secure new work by participating in estimates and proposals.
• Oversees the development and implementation of quality management plan.
• Develops or oversees the Project Execution Plan (PEP).
• Coordinates, monitors, and manages design deliverables for permits and construction.
• Reviews design documentation for compliance and constructability.
• Monitors project performance status for schedule, cost, and quality.
• Identifies scope gaps and technical risk.
