Senior Project Manager - Water/Wastewater

Come work with senior-level professionals at an established A/E firm that values employee input and collaboration. Burgess & Niple is looking for a Senior Project Manager - Water/Wastewater to join our team in Dallas.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the planning and design of water/wastewater projects, including water transmission mains, sanitary sewers, wastewater force mains, and wastewater pump stations.
2. Evaluate, select, and adapt standard techniques, procedures, and criteria with judgment.
3. Lead and participate in project delivery to ensure an excellent client experience.
4. Serve as project manager and/or technical expert on projects of limited complexity and size, or parts of larger projects.
5. Assist with marketing efforts, business development, proposal preparation, interviews, and presentations.
6. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, both existing and new.
7. Monitor project performance indicators, budgets, schedules, and manage risks.
8. Train, coach, and mentor junior staff in design project delivery.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent from an ABET-accredited program.
2. Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Texas required or ability to register via reciprocity.
3. 15+ years of experience in water/wastewater project delivery.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Civil 3D and/or Microstation.
5. Proven client and project management skills.
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
