KEITH is a multi-disciplined consulting engineering firm seeking a self-motivated and experienced Senior Project Manager / Civil Engineer with roadway experience to join our Transportation team in Orlando, FL. The successful candidate must have FDOT design experience, as they will be working on FDOT projects, and should possess a solid understanding of fundamental engineering processes involved in planning, design, production, and construction of engineering projects. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to produce complex design plans and reports is essential.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Develop detailed designs.
2. Prepare and implement project plans.
3. Research and provide estimates for projects.
4. Review government regulations and ordinances.
5. Recommend solutions or present alternatives to problems.
6. Gain knowledge and develop skills in specific practice areas.
7. Apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to assigned tasks.
8. Exercise limited judgment on work details and application of standard methods.
9. Perform basic design tasks.
10. Assign tasks and coordinate with technicians or administrative staff.
11. Receive supervision on complex issues and review all work aspects.
12. Interact with staff, the public, officials, and contractors.

Qualifications:

• Florida PE license
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Experience with MicroStation
• FDOT design experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Bluebeam
• Ability to produce roadway plans
• Ability to multitask under strict deadlines
• Independent, proactive, enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels
