Job Description

KEITH is a multi-disciplined consulting engineering firm seeking a self-motivated and experienced Project Manager / Civil Engineer with Roadway experience to join our Transportation team in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate must have FDOT design experience, as they will work on FDOT projects, and possess knowledge of fundamental engineering processes involved in planning, design, production, and construction of engineering projects. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to produce complex design plans and reports is essential.

What you'll do:

1. Develop detailed designs.
2. Prepare and implement project plans.
3. Research and provide estimates for projects.
4. Review government regulations and ordinances.
5. Make recommendations or present alternative solutions to problems.
6. Apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to assigned tasks.
7. Perform basic design tasks.
8. Assign tasks and coordinate with Engineers, Technicians, and administrative staff.
9. Interact with staff, the general public, officials, and contractors.

Job Qualifications:

• Florida EIT or PE license
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Experience with Microstation and/or ORD (Open Roads Designer)
• FDOT design experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Bluebeam
• Capable of roadway plans production
• Independent, proactive, enthusiastic, self-starter with attention to detail, willing to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels
