Project Manager – Transmission & Substation

About the role:

We’re looking for a Project Manager for Early Stage (ES) transmission & substation development on behalf of our client. This is a 1-year contract assignment (W-2). The role manages the ES process for high-voltage transmission and substation projects within engineering & construction (E&C). The manager leads development of procurement, engineering, permitting, and land acquisition. The position is not responsible for site-based construction management and reports to the onsite manager. Location: Juno Beach, FL or Remote is an option for qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead development of project plans with focus on execution, cost, and schedule.
• Coordinate diverse teams including development, land, environmental, legal, regulatory, procurement (ISC), engineering, and operations.
• Prepare RFP packages to competitively source engineering, survey, geotechnical, LiDAR, and construction services.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• Experience: 11–15 years.
• Experience managing projects >$100 MM.
• Strong scope, schedule, and cost management and documentation skills.
• Ability to travel (~25%).

Base salary range for this position is estimated to be $40.00/hr to $45.00/hr, dependent upon experience, qualifications, and skills.
