Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Project Manager for Transmission & Substation to manage high-voltage projects during the Early Stage process. This role focuses on procurement, engineering, permitting, and land aspects while reporting to an onsite manager.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Engineering, 11-15 years of project management experience, and strong skills in risk, cost, and schedule management. This position is available as a 1-year contract assignment, with an option for remote work for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• 11-15 years of experience in project management.
• Experience managing projects valued over $100MM.
• Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of project plans focused on execution, cost, and schedule.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Development, Land, and Engineering.
• Prepare RFP packages to source various engineering and construction services.
• Identify risks and develop corresponding mitigation strategies.
