Job summary

TEKsystems in Chicago is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee a large-scale technology enablement program. You will independently lead projects through initiation, planning, execution, testing, go-live, and post-implementation support.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, cross-functional coordination, and experience in manufacturing or industrial environments. This contract position offers hybrid work in Chicago and opportunities to drive delivery across enterprise

Qualifications

• Senior Project Manager who can hit the ground running.
• Self-starter with strong initiative and accountability.
• Comfortable owning projects end-to-end.
• Strong personality capable of holding their own with Commercial, Finance, Operations, and IT leaders.
• Experience in manufacturing, operations, or industrial environments is highly preferred.
• Culturally aligned with a collaborative, relationship-driven organization.

Responsibilities

• Developing business cases, charters, project plans, and governance documentation.
• Managing cross-functional stakeholders and project teams.
• Coordinating vendors, testing activities, and deployment readiness.
• Driving project communications and organizational change management.
• Tracking project milestones, risks, budgets, and deliverables.
• Presenting project status to leadership and steering committees.
• Ensuring successful execution of enterprise technology initiatives.
