Job summary

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager for the Power & Manufacturing – Generation & Energy Management Team in Boston, MA; Burlington, MA; Norwell, MA; Parsippany, NJ; or Hartford, CT.

You will lead complex district energy and power projects, manage client relationships, and ensure successful delivery on scope, budget and schedule. The role emphasizes seller/doer responsibilities, market development, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in engineering, architecture, science, planning, engineering management or related field.
PE or equivalent professional license preferred.
PMP Certification preferred.
Minimum of 11 years of experience; at least 8 years in project management.
Experience preparing proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations and closeout docs.
Experience managing client relationships and interpreting contract requirements.
Ability to track and oversee multiple projects; strong problem-solving skills.
Experience in budgeting, forecasting and cash management; proficient in MS Office.
Knowledge of Deltek Vision, MS Project and/or Primavera P6 preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead projects within scope, budget and schedule, with risk awareness and financial measures.
Manage client relationships and communications with management and project teams.
Develop marketing plans and identify target markets for growth.
Prepare for monthly project review meetings with operations.
Foster team development and mentor other Project Managers.
