Job summary

Novax Recruitment Group is partnering with an established structural steel business to recruit a Senior Project Manager. You will oversee steel projects from contract award through completion, taking responsibility for project execution, budgets, schedules and client relationships.

This senior role also includes leading and mentoring the project management team, coordinating design, fabrication and erection, and driving margin improvement across multiple complex projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction or engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• Experience managing multiple complex projects and leading teams.
• Ability to read construction drawings and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee steel projects from award through completion.
• Develop execution plans covering scope, schedule and budget.
• Coordinate requirements across design, fabrication and erection.
• Mentor and lead project management team.
• Manage client relationships and resolve disputes.
• Review cost reports and change orders.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and margin improvement.
• Collaborate with general contractors, erectors and shop personnel.
