Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Senior Geotechnical Project Manager to join a high-performing team in Connecticut.

What You'll Lead
You will serve as both a technical and client-facing leader responsible for project execution, team development, and business growth.
- Manage geotechnical projects from proposal stage through final delivery.
- Prepare and review geotechnical reports, specifications, construction plans, and engineering recommendations.
- Lead client relationships, project coordination, budgeting, billing, and scheduling activities.
- Mentor, coach, and develop junior engineers and technical staff.
- Support excavation design, retaining structures, and advanced geotechnical analyses, including PLAXIS 3D modelling.
- Oversee field investigations, construction observations, and quality control efforts.
- Help expand existing client relationships while supporting new business development initiatives.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline and a Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- 9-10+ years of geotechnical engineering experience.
- Strong background in geotechnical investigations, construction inspections, and field operations.
- Experience with earthwork, deep foundations, load testing, excavation support systems, retaining walls, and ground improvement.
- Proven project management experience, including budgets, schedules, proposals, and client management.
- Strong communication skills with experience mentoring engineers and leading project teams.
- Familiarity with industry software such as PLAXIS, LPILE, SLOPE/W, gINT, and related geotechnical analysis tools is highly desirable.
