Job summary

Senior Project Manager for Solar PV & BESS is a remote role for a US-based candidate. You will lead utility-scale solar PV and BESS projects from notice to proceed through closeout, coordinating with business development, preconstruction, procurement, and subcontractors to deliver executable plans.

You'll apply strong commercial judgment, cost control, and cross-functional leadership to ensure safe, compliant delivery and achieve project financial targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of construction project management experience.
• 5+ years of solar PV, BESS, or related power infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing projects valued from $5M to $150M+.
• Strong command of EPC/EPCM delivery and subcontract management.
• Proven commercial skills in change-order negotiation and cost forecasting.
• Experience leading or mentoring project managers.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Business Development and Preconstruction to convert sold projects into executable plans.
• Lead solar PV and BESS projects from Notice to Proceed through final closeout.
• Manage procurement and subcontractor performance for project alignment and compliance.
• Direct cross-functional project teams, ensuring collaboration and issue resolution.
• Oversee project budgets and forecasts, and drive value-engineering opportunities.

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager - Solar PV & BESS to join the team of a leader in the Energy & Utilities space.

This role will lead the execution of utility-scale solar PV and BESS projects from notice to proceed through closeout. The Senior Project Manager will work closely with business development, preconstruction, procurement, and subcontractors to turn awarded work into fully executable project plans. Success in this position will require strong commercial judgment, disciplined cost control, and the ability to keep cross-functional teams aligned while driving safe, compliant delivery.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $134,000 – $194,000 annually
