Job summary

SEI seeks an experienced professional for the Investment Manager Services division in Pennsylvania. You will manage technical processes across managed accounts, collaborating with trading, client service, and portfolio administration while implementing solutions using Power Platform, Python, SQL, and VBA.

Strong communication and problem-solving are essential for success, as you help optimize workflows and drive efficiency across the division and organization.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in computer science, accounting, finance, business or related field, or the equivalent in education and work experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience identifying and building efficient solutions, preferably in an investment environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform (Automate, Dataverse), SharePoint, Python, SQL, VBA.
  • Detail oriented with strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication; able to work under pressure and take initiative.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all technical processes and ensure issue resolution.
  • Represent SEI professionally when interacting with clients and vendors.
  • Monitor and verify that established processes function effectively and address issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with SMA operations teams and maintain precise communication via email and in person.
  • Support development and documentation of technical processes and controls; contribute to improvements.

Job description

The Investment Manager Services (IMS) Division at SEI is experiencing rapid growth and is expanding its Managed Accounts team. Our mission is to deliver the highest standards of service and account management to our clients within IMS. This role will collaborate across managed accounts teams, including trading, client service, account administration, portfolio administration, reconciliation, and security master.

Key responsibilities include managing and developing processes leveraging Microsoft Power, Python, SQL, and VBA. The role involves close interaction across operational teams, requiring a deep understanding of each group’s processes, their interconnections, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Additionally, this role focuses on identifying, designing, and implementing new procedures and solutions to enhance efficiency.

What you’ll do:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all technical processes, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution
  • Represent SEI professionally while confidently demonstrating command and knowledge when interacting with external clients and vendors
  • Monitor and verify that all established processes function effectively, addressing issues promptly
  • Collaborate closely with SMA operations teams, maintaining professional and precise communication via email and in person
  • Support the development and documentation of technical processes and controls, contributing to process improvements and enhancements.

What we need from you:
