Job summary

MPI, a family owned, general contractor with over 50 years in business, is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Rhode Island. The role leads healthcare/hospital projects, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence while coordinating with clients and subcontractors on-site.

The right candidate will have 5–10+ years of PM experience with a GC, read plans and specs, and manage project financials with invoicing and requisitions. OSHA 30 and a construction-related degree are highly regarded.

Qualifications

  • Healthcare or hospital project experience required.
  • 5–10+ years of PM experience with a General Contractor.
  • Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
  • Familiarity with project financials – invoice approval and internal reporting.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • Construction-related degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Completing projects on time and within budget.
  • Processing/approving project invoices & client requisitions on time.
  • Monthly cost to complete / project financial projections.
  • Positive client feedback / satisfaction.
  • Collaborating & communicating with internal/external parties.
  • Managing multiple subcontractors on-site.
  • Touch every aspect of the business: financials, estimating, contracts, etc.

Job Description

The SPM is responsible for:

  • Completing projects on time and within budget
  • Processing/approving project invoices & client requisitions on time
  • Monthly cost to complete/project financial projections
  • Positive client feedback/satisfaction
  • Effectively collaborating & communicating with internal/external parties
  • Managing multiple subcontractors on-site
  • Touch every aspect of the business: financials, estimating, contracts, etc.

  • OSHA 30
