Zusammenfassung

Spencer Ogden is seeking a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to support utility-scale energy projects in the preconstruction phase. You will collaborate with Development, Engineering, Procurement, and Project Execution teams to assess readiness, manage EPC procurement, and establish budgets, schedules, and construction strategies for successful delivery.

The role emphasizes resolving constructability and permitting risks, developing detailed schedules, and leading EPC RFP processes.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–8 years of experience in renewable energy, industrial construction, or capital project management.
• Experience with EPC and BOP contracting, including RFP development, bid evaluation, and contract negotiations.
• Familiarity with U.S. construction labor practices.

Aufgaben

• Partner with Development and Engineering teams to identify constructability, permitting, site, and execution risks early in the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including critical path activities, milestones, and contingencies.
• Review project budgets, capital cost estimates, and cash flow forecasts with project controls and cost estimating teams.
• Lead EPC RFP processes, including scope development, bid evaluation, contractor selection, and negotiations.
• Support EPC contract execution, including early-stage engineering, design coordination, and contract alignment.
• Develop construction execution strategies, project implementation plans, budgets, and schedules.
• Assist with preliminary engineering specifications for construction and equipment supply contracts.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and lead regular project status meetings.
• Build and maintain relationships with EPC contractors, suppliers, and other project partners.
• Facilitate the transition of projects from preconstruction into project execution.
