San Bernardino County Public Works, Special Districts - Project Management Division invites applications for a Senior Project Manager to oversee high-value construction projects across water, wastewater, and related facilities. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management and 4 years of relevant experience; substitutions allowed.

Qualifications

• Engineering or construction management degree required.
• 4 years of professional experience managing medium-large capital improvement projects.
• Experience with design, procurement and construction of infrastructure facilities/buildings/equipment.
• Substitutions: 2 extra years for degree; or 4 extra years for education substitution.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-value and complex construction projects with hands-on oversight.
• Supervise and oversee other Project Managers working on plans and specifications.
• Administer and manage construction contracts, RFPs, estimating expenses, and change orders.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and inspections and provide technical guidance.
