Job summary

The Inland Empire Utilities Agency invites applications for Senior Project Manager to lead high-value capital projects across planning, design, construction, start-up and closeout. You will oversee scopes, schedules, budgets, and risk, and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal departments.

Ideal candidates have a decade of diversified project management experience in public works and hold CCM or PMP certification (or PE license as substitute).

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in engineering, construction management or a closely related field, and at least ten years of progressively responsible experience in diversified project management of public works construction projects; or equivalent Combination of education, training and experience.
• Certification in Construction Management (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) is required; a valid PE license may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of major capital projects through all phases from planning to turnover.
• Oversee construction contracts, schedule, budget, risk, and quality; coordinate consultants, inspectors, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and project managers; resolve complex technical and delivery challenges.
