Job summary

Cumming Group seeks a Senior Project Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of public-sector projects near Menlo Park, CA. You will lead complex capital improvements from planning through closeout, managing budgets, schedules, consultants, and stakeholder coordination to meet client objectives.

The ideal candidate offers 8+ years of PM/engineering/construction mgmt experience, with strong leadership and client management skills to navigate public-sector priorities.

Qualifications

• Education: BS in Construction Management, Engineering, QS, Architecture, or related field.
• Experience: 8+ years of experience in Project Management, engineering, or construction management.
• Public project experience required; K-12/ DSA project experience preferred.
• Public sector projects experience including fire stations, municipal facilities or general public works.

Responsibilities

• Lead a project team for large projects or multiple projects or a program.
• Define the technical scope of the project.
• Review cost estimates and manage project budgets and expenditures.
• Coordinate with client, consultants, contractors and stakeholders; provide reports.
• Ensure compliance with public-sector standards and requirements.
