Job summary

Qualus is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead advisory, engineering, EP, and EPC projects in high-voltage substations, transmission lines, renewables, and large industrial facilities. The role involves scope, schedule, cost, quality, communications, resources, procurement, and risk management, with travel as needed.

Ideal candidates will have 7–10 years of utility-scale experience and strong electrical power systems knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering preferred (Electrical or Civil).
• 7–10 years of experience in utility-scale electrical projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems and interconnection requirements.
• Experience with MS Project or Primavera P6 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex engineering projects across substation design, transmission, telecommunications, renewable energy interconnections, electric utilities and large load industrial facilities.
• Coordinate project documents and drawings with engineers, designers, and subcontractors to ensure schedules are met.
• Manage scope, budget, scheduling, and change control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support procurement and construction activities, including site construction managers and procurement teams.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to internal process improvements and project control standards.
