Job summary

Edges Electrical Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager for our Power Projects team in Sacramento. You will manage customer projects from submittal to finish, liaising between reps, customers, and outside sales, and drive order management improvements.

You will lead pre-construction meetings off-site and mentor colleagues, ensuring on-time, accurate submittals, quotes, shipments, and 100% billing and shipment completion.

Qualifications

• Six years’ experience in the electrical product line or project management.
• Two years’ experience in Power Projects.
• Expert knowledge of electrical product line and project management.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Bluebeam, and Solar/Job Management.
• Preferred experience in MySchneider and SE Advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide submittals and updated submittals to customers.
• Provide updated quotes to customers as needed.
• Process and release orders as approved by customers.
• Participate in pre-construction meetings off-site with customers.
• Help develop best forms of practice in the order management process company wide.
• Mentor others within the department and company in these processes and customer expectations.
• Track shipments and update both the customer and Job Management.
• Work with vendors for delivery status, proof of delivery and expedite shipments as needed.
• Research customer problems and questions pertaining to form and function of material.
• See the project/order through to completion and ensure it is billed and shipped 100%.
• Responsible for Operations and Maintenance instructions (O&M) for all lighting project orders.
• Manage projects/orders efficiently by following SOPs.
• Request RMAs/RGAs from Vendors as needed.
• Follow up on open orders and returns.
• Maintain effective communication with customers, outside sales, and reps/vendors.
• Enter order in systems for will-call, company truck delivery or direct delivery from vendor.
