Job summary

Qualus is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and manage advisory, engineering, EP, and EPC projects focusing on high-voltage substations, transmission lines, renewable energy, and large-load industrial facilities. You will handle scope, schedule, budget, quality, communications, and risk to optimize client service and financial performance.

Travel 1–2 times per month, cross-disciplinary coordination, and mentoring junior staff are expected as part of this role.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge to complete a project design from start to finish.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical or Civil) preferred.
• 7–10 years of experience in utility-scale electrical projects including substation and transmission design.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex engineering projects across substation design, transmission, telecommunications, renewable energy interconnections, electric utilities and large load industrial facilities.
• Coordinate project documents and drawings with engineers, designers, and subcontractors to ensure schedules are met.
• Manage project scope, budget, scheduling, and change control throughout the lifecycle.
• Support procurement and construction activities including site construction managers and procurement teams.
• Mentor less experienced staff and contribute to project control systems and standards.
