Job summary

Jacobs in West Palm Beach is seeking a Senior Project Manager/Owner's Representative to lead public-sector design and construction efforts, overseeing cost, schedule, scope, and safety from inception to occupancy.

You will manage multiple $15-20M projects, coordinate design consultants and contractors, attend meetings, and interface with clients to ensure objectives are met. The role requires client-facing excellence and a strong track record in PM/CM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline, Construction Management or Architecture preferred.
• 5 years experience as a Project Manager in an Owner, Engineering, Environmental or Construction organization.
• 10 years experience in a project related technical field.
• Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect license/certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall project delivery (cost, schedule, quality, information, contracts) on multiple project assignments.
• Manages project development from conception through completion in accordance with program objectives for multiple simultaneous $15-20M projects.
• Manages all budgets, schedules, scope development, design and construction contracts, documents, procedures and controls for assigned projects.
• Reviews the review and approval process for consultant invoices and contractor pay applications and change orders and coordinates with Control Manager for proper posting in reporting program.
• Creates from Client standard contractual documents consultant and contractor Requests for Proposals and Contracts.
