Job summary

St. Louis County's Department of Transportation and Public Works seeks a Project Manager IV - Planning & Programming Engineer to perform advanced engineering work and supervise staff in complex projects.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer or Architect by the Missouri Board of Engineers, Architects and Land Surveyors and five years of related experience.
• Possession of a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Long-Range Planning group responsible for asset management, standards, policies, and grant tracking.
• Manage consultant-led and in-house studies shaping the County's transportation network.
• Assist Short-Range Planning in developing programs to maintain asset conditions within budget.
• Represent the County in public settings and collaborate with peer agencies.
• Develop staff skills through communication, delegation, QA of work, recognition, and discipline.
