Job summary

Clark is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead construction projects across Northern Michigan. The role requires coordinating with clients, teams, and partners to deliver projects on schedule and within budget, while exploring opportunities for future work through Business Development collaboration.

Ideal candidates will manage multiple projects, maintain clear communication, and contribute to expanding Clark's presence in the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• Proven ability to independently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and process development skills.
• Solid understanding of construction and engineering operations.
• Proficiency in data automation tools, PM software, and standard business applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Excel).
• Excellent verbal and written communication across diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning: Define and maintain detailed project scopes, schedules, work breakdown structures, and planning assumptions.
• Resource Management: Allocate personnel and materials effectively with superintendents and management.
• Priority Setting: Establish and adjust project priorities to meet deadlines and milestones.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Define roles and ensure accountability across project teams.
• Performance Monitoring: Track key metrics and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule and budget.
• Team Collaboration: Work with project teams to align resources with deliverables.
• Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve performance issues to maintain momentum.
• Execution Strategy: Oversee risk management, communication strategies, change control, and QA.
• Project Reviews: Conduct regular assessments and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Communication: Maintain transparent communication with clients, team members, and leadership.
