Job summary

SHINE Technologies is seeking a Project Manager to lead new product development for a neutron generator product, overseeing design, procurement, prototypes, build, and delivery. You will manage schedules, budgets, and resources across research, development, and supply chain, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

The role requires 5+ years in a technical industry, PMP preferred, and strong communication and PM skills to coordinate multi-functional teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or comparable technical field required.
5+ years’ experience in a technical industry, preferably leading an engineering team with deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communications; strong interpersonal and customer relations skills.
Strong PM skills demonstrated in technical fields and knowledge of PM principles/tools.
Experience in product development, product release and quality control processes.
Solid understanding of SolidWorks, version control, and defect tracking systems.
Experience delivering to customer requirements and managing project scope.
Familiarity with MS Office and project management software.

Responsibilities

Develop coherent project plans, schedules, and milestones with cross‑functional teams.
Define milestones, critical path, schedules, risks with mitigation plans and cost estimates.
Monitor timelines and adjust plans to meet deadlines and budgets.
Coordinate project meetings across departments and stakeholders.
Identify and address obstacles to project execution and take corrective actions.
Maintain project files per procedures and processes.
Assess and plan resource needs; manage outsourcing as needed.
Regularly update management on project status and seek guidance as required.
Ensure safety and regulatory requirements are incorporated into design and execution.
Mentor junior PMs/engineers and contribute to product strategy.
