Job summary

SHINE is seeking a Lead Engineer to oversee the engineering and technical development of its used nuclear fuel recycling project, guiding design from concept through licensing, procurement, and construction.

You will build and lead the core recycling engineering team, set technical standards, own design integrity, and coordinate with licensing authorities, regulators, and vendors to achieve milestones safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Nuclear or Chemical Engineering; 10+ years in engineering with team leadership.
• Experience in nuclear process design, licensing, and construction; plus regulatory interactions.
• Familiarity with 10 CFR or DOE standards.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage the core recycling engineering team, set technical standards.
• Own the facility's design integrity and collaborate on licensing efforts.
