Job summary

Engineering Consulting Services (ECS) is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support our Natural Resources Environmental team in Central Florida. This role ensures all tasks from proposal to final invoicing are completed, either by the manager or by subordinates, and serves as the main client contact.

The ideal candidate has a strong track record in environmental permitting, manages project budgets, mentors junior staff, and leads client meetings to present findings and ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, Natural Resources, Biology, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of related experience in environmental permitting and project management.

Responsibilities

• Manage natural resources projects from proposal through completion.
• Prepare scopes of work, fee proposals, schedules, reports, and permit applications.
• Manage project budgets, invoicing, and performance.
• Serve as primary client contact and coordinate agency interactions.
• Mentor junior staff and support technical team development.
• Direct project setup, field work, and ensure appropriately trained staff.
