Job summary

ECS Florida, LLC is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and grow our Natural Resources Environmental team in the Florida panhandle, overseeing environmental permitting, NEPA support, coastal and marine resources, waterfront infrastructure, and transportation projects for public and private clients across Florida.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience with federal projects, waterfront development, ports, dredging, coastal resiliency, and marine construction, with strong preference

Qualifications

• Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, Natural Resources, Biology, Marine biology, or other degree relevant to Environmental Consulting.
• Minimum 10 years of related experience.
• Professional licenses preferred (PWS, Professional Arborist, PE, PG) or AAUS Diver following EM 385-1-1 guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Revenue growth and client expansion within your market and service line.
• Develop and execute a strategic business development plan.
• Lead key client accounts and pursue high-value opportunities.
• Build and mentor a high-performing delivery team.
• Drive new business acquisition through networking, referrals, and industry engagement.
• Manage natural resources projects from proposal through completion.
• Prepare scopes of work, fee proposals, schedules, reports, and permit applications.
• Manage project budgets, invoicing, and project performance.
• Serve as a primary client contact and coordinate agency collaboration.
• Mentor junior staff and support technical team development.
• Grow the marine/diving team and marine-focused operations.
• Collaborate with leadership to define and execute market growth strategies.

Education
