Job summary

Jacobs in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead municipal infrastructure projects from planning through construction, serving as the primary client contact across Wisconsin. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Wisconsin or ability to obtain through reciprocity.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience delivering municipal infrastructure projects, including project management responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated success managing project budgets, schedules, staffing, and client expectations.
  • Experience working directly with municipalities and public-sector clients.
  • Strong understanding of municipal design standards, funding programs, and project delivery processes.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience supporting business development, client relationship management, and proposal pursuits.
  • Direct experience managing local roadway, utility, and WisDOT Connecting Highway projects.
  • Established relationships with municipal clients throughout southeastern and south-central Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

Your impact

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our growing Municipal Infrastructure team in Wisconsin. This is an opportunity to lead high-impact projects that improve the transportation networks and public infrastructure serving communities throughout southeastern and south-central Wisconsin.

In this role, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to municipal clients, leading the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects including local roadway improvements, utility reconstruction, WisDOT Connecting Highway projects, and other municipal capital improvement initiatives. You'll work directly with city, village, town, and county stakeholders while guiding multidisciplinary teams through project planning, design, construction, and closeout.

We're looking for a proven municipal project leader who enjoys building client relationships, developing business opportunities, mentoring technical staff, and driving project success. What You'll Do

The base salary range for this position is $140,000.00 to $180,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
