Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Project Manager for its Wastewater Clients in Milwaukee or Madison, WI. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver sustainable wastewater solutions and mentor staff while pursuing new work through strategic proposals and contracts.

We're seeking a Project Manager to work with our Wastewater Clients from our Milwaukee, WI or Madison, WI office. You'll play an integral role in leading and mentoring staff, forming long-term relationships with clients and pursuing new work, including strategy development, positioning, proposing, and negotiating contracts. Here's what you'll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in civil, environmental, chemical, or mechanical engineering
  • Extensive project management experience for municipal wastewater treatment projects (planning, design, and construction)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary project teams
  • Demonstrated understanding of municipal wastewater treatment processes and technologies
  • Multi-discipline design management experience
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Self-motivated, initiator; demonstrated through professional society involvements or related activities
  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with clients and to win work
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License in the state of Illinois or ability to obtain within 6 months
Ideally, You'll Also Have
  • More than 15 years project management experience for municipal wastewater treatment projects (planning, design, and construction)
  • Willingness to work with and mentor younger staff to develop their project management skills
  • Experience with process mechanical design and willingness to perform as the discipline lead role on an as-needed basis
  • Master's Degree in civil, environmental, chemical, or mechanical engineering.

The base salary range for this position is $120,000.00 to $170,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
