Job summary

NextGen | GTA: A Kelly Telecom Company in Dallas, TX is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead data center and mission-critical construction initiatives through the full lifecycle, from planning to commissioning and turnover.

The ideal candidate has 10–15 years of PM experience in data centers, strong MEP knowledge, and a track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and with high reliability.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of project or construction management experience.
• Minimum 8 years supporting data center, mission-critical, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, commissioning, and startup activities.
• Experience with critical path scheduling and project controls.
• Proficient with project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Procore.
• Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and client engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution by establishing governance processes, project plans, schedules, budgets, and stakeholder alignment.
• Manage financial performance, including forecasting, cost controls, contingency planning, procurement strategy, and value engineering efforts.
• Direct commissioning activities, testing programs, operational readiness reviews, and project closeout processes.
• Coordinate procurement and delivery of critical equipment, including power distribution, UPS systems, generators, cooling infrastructure, and related technologies.
• Oversee compliance with industry standards and best practices related to mission-critical facilities and data center operations.
• Partner with engineering, construction, commissioning, and client teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Support safety initiatives, operational procedures, and risk management throughout all phases of construction.
• Lead and mentor project teams while promoting collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with consultants, contractors, utility providers, and regulatory agencies.
• Present regular program updates to executive leadership, including project health, budget status, schedule performance, risks, and milestone achievements.
