Job summary

Scott Humphrey Corporation is seeking experienced Project Managers to lead complex, national-scale projects in Advanced Technology, Data Centers, Aerospace, and Aviation construction. You will oversee projects from preconstruction to turnover, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with owners, architects, and subcontractors.

This hands-on role emphasizes strong subcontractor management, cost control, scheduling, and client coordination, with onsite work and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial, industrial, or technically complex construction experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience leading subcontractors, procurement, project controls, scheduling, and cost management.
• Proven ability to independently manage significant project scopes; full leadership for PM II role.
• Advanced Technology, data center, aerospace, aviation, or complex industrial construction experience preferred.
• Must be willing to work onsite as part of the project team.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects or major scopes from preconstruction through turnover and closeout.
• Develop execution plans, budgets, schedules, procurement strategies, and subcontracting plans.
• Lead subcontractor procurement, bids, and awards.
• Manage project financial performance including budgets, forecasts, and cost-to-complete.
• Maintain schedules and coordinate with field teams to troubleshoot milestones.
• Handle RFIs, submittals, design coordination, procurement logs, and change documentation.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Lead meetings and report on schedule, cost, procurement, quality, safety, and risks.
• Identify cost/schedule risks early and develop corrective actions.
• Support coordination of complex MEP systems and substantive construction work.
• Ensure subcontractors meet contract requirements and safety standards.
• Manage project closeout, punch lists, training, and turnover.
• Provide leadership and development to junior PM staff.
