Job summary

Newmark seeks an experienced project manager to oversee Cupertino-based tenant improvement and lab/building infrastructure initiatives for a tech client. You will coordinate client, architects, general contractors, engineers, and vendors to ensure delivery on scope, schedule and budget.

The role requires 10+ years in project/construction management, a related bachelor’s degree, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering or architecture.
Minimum 10 years of related project management experience; construction management experience required.
LEED AP and/or PMP certifications preferred.
Strong knowledge of project/construction management principles and regulations.
Ability to lead and communicate effectively at all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

Understand project scope from client and end users before kickoff.
Guide budget and timetable based on scope and market conditions.
Lead teams through all project phases per client processes.
Coordinate stakeholders to capture requirements and timeline.
Manage budgets, po releases, commitments, and invoicing approvals.
Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts.
Review mechanical, electrical, and plumbing documents and provide industry insights.
Report project status to client and team and adjust plans as needed.
Close out projects with O&M manuals and as-builts.
