Job summary

Arora Engineers LLC in San Jose, CA is seeking a Project Manager to lead multi-discipline MEP design and construction phase services. You will coordinate internal staff and external stakeholders, manage scope, budget, and schedule, and represent the company at project meetings.

You will also initiate projects, assign resources, ensure adherence to company standards, develop staff, and maintain strong client relationships while delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or MS/MA in engineering or architecture.
• PMP and/or PE certification preferred.
• 6–10 years engineering experience and 3–5 years PM experience.
• Valid state driver’s license; US work eligibility.
• Background checks for security requirements as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate multi-discipline MEP design and construction phase services.
• Prepare project initiation documents with scope, budget and schedule.
• Identify resources and assign team members with discipline leads.
• Ensure adherence to company procedures and standards.
• Act as client/Company liaison and represent at project meetings.
• Perform or assign field surveys/inspections.
• Identify and address potentially serious situations and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain current project financial database and produce reports.
• Communicate changes and variations clearly.
• Develop project staff and supervise assigned personnel.
• Review project status with supervisor and senior management.
