Job summary

AR&B Mechanical Contractor in the San Francisco Bay Area seeks a Project Manager to own projects from pre-construction through closeout, serving as the primary client contact and guiding teams. You will mentor Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers while ensuring successful delivery across complex mechanical projects.

You will manage budgets, schedules and change orders, coordinate with internal design and field staff, and cultivate strong client relationships, with LEED accreditation

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a construction project management role.
• Proven ability to understand and interpret mechanical construction plans and specifications.
• Proficiency with project software such as Foundation, Procore, Bluebeam, PlanGrid, MS Excel and MS Word.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong client and team relationships.
• Proactive, self-starting mindset with strong organizational skills.
• LEED accreditation is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or mechanical engineering is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Drive business development by participating in project interviews and client relations.
• Lead the entire project lifecycle from pre-construction to closeout.
• Own project financials including budget, cost projections, billing and change orders.
• Coordinate with internal design, field teams and subcontractors for seamless execution.
• Mentor Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers to develop talent.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve field issues promptly.
