Job summary

City of Albuquerque seeks a Senior Project Coordinator for the SW-Weed and Litter division to manage and supervise multiple right-of-way maintenance projects, including contractual maintenance and capital projects. You will coordinate budgets, design reviews, plan checks and schedule development while guiding staff and consultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Five years of experience in construction management, landscape maintenance operations, landscape architecture, and/or capital project management.
• Two years of direct supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Assume management and supervisory responsibility for coordinating the organization, staffing and operational activities for assigned projects within the Median Maintenance Program; oversee budgets, scheduling and contracts.
• Coordinate and review contracts with management, the Legal Department and contractors; ensure contract compliance.
• Plan, coordinate, assign, review and evaluate staff and consultants for renovation and development of capital projects.
• Coordinate work plans, monitor workflow, and resolve issues with staff to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Select, train and evaluate personnel; provide staff training and address deficiencies; implement discipline.
