Job summary

Loenbro is seeking a Project Manager for on-site work in Reno, NV. You will lead the successful execution of multiple heavy industrial projects, coordinating with the Project Executive, Field Leadership, and clients to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires 7–10 years in heavy industrial construction with mining experience, strong electrical knowledge, and proficiency in PM software. A Bachelor’s degree in construction management is required, with PMP/CCM or PE preferred.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in heavy industrial construction with 3–5 years directly managing field operations or mechanical scopes within active/ Greenfield mining, mineral processing, or heavy bulk materials handling.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools including Bluebeam, Procore, Accubid, and P6.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, change order requests, scheduling, take-off meetings, and client communication.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards with NFPA 70E or OSHA Certification.
• Process piping (ASME B31.3), slurry systems, high-pressure lines, and HDPE fusing. Reading P&ID’s and ISO’s.
• Heavy rotating equipment and mill installation (crushers, ball/sag mills, flotation cells, hydro-cyclones, slurry pumps).
• Material handling systems (stacker/reclaimers, Overland conveyors, apron feeders, transfer chutes).
• Precision shaft alignment, equipment grouting, torque procedures, and laser metrology/3D scanning integration.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, initiation, and budgeting. Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful project execution.
• Build and lead project teams including electricians, technicians, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate resources including materials, equipment, and personnel; manage procurement and vendor relationships.
• Monitor safety, quality, budget, and timelines; communicate status to clients and stakeholders.
• Handle project changes and scope adjustments; document and communicate changes to all relevant parties.
• Implement quality control procedures to guarantee workmanship and safety; ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations.
• Maintain project documentation and prepare progress reports; submit final reports and invoices.
• Conduct project reviews to evaluate performance against objectives and client expectations.
