Job summary

Upchurch, a full-service building engineering company, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee complex HVAC, plumbing, and process piping projects from pre-construction through close-out. You will mentor teams, build client relationships, and drive profitability across multiple sites.

You will supervise budgets, schedules, and procurement while coordinating with field leadership to deliver safe, high-quality installations on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years managing mechanical construction projects in commercial/industrial settings.
• Proven track record delivering multi-million-dollar projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, piping systems, and construction sequencing.
• Experience with budgets, forecasts, and contract compliance.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of high-value mechanical projects.
• Guide pre-construction efforts including estimating support and constructability reviews.
• Develop and manage budgets, schedules, procurement, and manpower planning.
• Serve as executive contact for clients, GCs, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Oversee PM teams including PMs, APMs, and Project Engineers.
• Review contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and billing.
• Monitor productivity, cost, risk, and cash flow metrics.
• Partner with field leadership to ensure safe, high-quality installations.
• Mentor and retain top project management talent.
